Artist's Comments

Thank you for my second Daily Deviation!
This is certainly all the encouragement I need to make more tutorials. :D

---

My second tutorial! I use a lot of the tutorials from DA, but I don't think I've ever come across one on wrinkles and old people.. I wasn't really planning to make this, but I finished my "The Good Witch" painting in one sitting, and decided to put the snapshots together to a tutorial.

I hope someone finds this useful! Let me know if anything is unclear, or if there is anything more you want to know. I hope my grammar and spelling is understandable, it's one am in the morning now, and I've been working on this all day..

I would appreciate it if you could link back to this tutorial if you use it in something you submit. :)

Painting Really Old People by =Edana whose words at the beginning of this tutorial have a ring of truth about them ,people do get old and wrinkly but there is nothing to stop us from re-creating the characteristic beauty of age. This tutorial offers many valuable techniques how this can be achieved. Thank you for this! A subject I've often wondered about, but had no idea where to even begin.

Thanks again! :):horns:

I had never heard of "old people tutorials" either so I'm glad you made one. I usually only draw those young and pretty people so your tutorial will certainly help broaden my horizons :]
Looks wonderful!

I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.
I do not think that they will sing to me.
